👮The new gendarmerie of Rivesaltes was inaugurated the day before yesterday
👮 With an area of 1600 m2, this barracks is the largest in the department, the building houses an administrative barracks and 28 housing units for gendarmes and their families.
Currently 200 new barracks are at the stage of consultation between the state and local elected officials, some of them will be built in our department.
Present at this inauguration were Rodrigue Furcy Prefect of the Pyrénées-Orientales, Anaïs Sabatini, deputy of the Pyrénées-Orientales, Colonel Gravelle representing General Bourillon commander of the Occitanie gendarmerie region, Colonel Arnaud Goudard commander of the Pyrénées-Orientales gendarmerie group, Patrick Cases, advisor to the Occitanie Region, Hermeline Malherbes, president of the departmental council of the Pyrénées-Orientales as well as Charles Chivilo and Lola Beuze, departmental advisors, Robert Vila, president of Perpignan Méditerranée Métropole with Laurent Gauze, Alain Dario and Gilles Foxonet, vice-presidents as well as Philippe Fourcade and Philippe Camps, community advisors of PMM, André Bascou, mayor of Riveslates and Toussainte Calabrese, president of the Office Public de l'Habitat of the Pyrénées-orientales, the institution that is carrying out the project.
Perpignan Méditerranée Métropole, as an actor of the security on its territory can count on this new staff of Rivesaltes.
