In 2017, the Perpignan Méditerranée Métropole network was renamed "Sankéo"!

"Sankéo" is the revisited version of the expression "Sang et Or", the coat of arms of Catalonia. The signature "Every day is a new beginning" expresses this ambition to be oriented towards a more sustainable, reliable and connected mobility.

Around "Sankéo", the Metropolis has also adopted a whole visual system with a colourful universe, echoing characteristic signs of the territory (contemporary art, the facets of a garnet, Catalan fabric, etc.). While keeping a foot in tradition and heritage, this new image is modern, resolutely turned towards the future, and particularly towards young people, the faces of tomorrow's mobility. In this respect, in 2017, the communication for the launch of the new Sankéo brand took a digital turn, in particular with the creation of a Sankéo "youtube" channel to inform travellers of the network's major news.

This visual identity reflects the change in mobility policy driven by Perpignan Méditerranée Métropole, which has reorganised its network around three core lines A, B and C in 2019 and wishes to establish a close relationship with public transport users thanks to this modern, dynamic and participative brand image.
