🌟🏠 Laying of the foundation stone of the Habitat Jeunes residence in Perpignan
🏗 Perpignan Méditerranée Métropole is pleased to announce the launch of the construction of a new Habitat Jeunes residence in partnership with ESH HPM.
🏠 This residence, which will offer 100 new places, is a crucial response to a growing need in the Pyrénées-Orientales where the population of 15-29 year olds is constantly growing.
🌟 Faced with precariousness and difficulties in accessing decent housing, this project aims to create a safe and affordable environment for workers on professional mobility, seasonal workers and young people in training.
In partnership with the Ligue de l'enseignement, manager and leader of the social project, as well as with the company Kavak, the ESH HPM is developing this residence is equipped with photovoltaic panels and grey water collectors, thus anticipating the environmental standards of tomorrow.
PMM is contributing €1.5 million to this project alongside Action Logement, the CAF, the Department of Pyrénées-Orientales, the Occitanie Region and the State. It is a testament to the commitment of local actors to social inclusion and environmental sustainability.
