🖌️ Signature of the 2023-2024 Animal Charter 🖌️

🐕 Thursday, April 27, took place the renewal of the signing of the Animal Charter in the offices of Perpignan Méditerranée Métropole.

🐈 This collaboration wishes the decrease of the euthanasia rate by aiming at "zero euthanasia", especially for cats whose rate is currently 3% against 70% in 2000.

For more than 20 years, PMM has established a charter for its community territory that brings together :

➡️ the Urban Community,

➡️ its public service delegate,

➡️ 7 associations committed to animal protection,

➡️ the collection and placement of stray or abandoned animals.

This link allows for a common working method and compliance of the facilities that collect the animals.

⚠️ An important point discussed during this meeting was that the dropout rate is extremely high this year ⚠️
