[#works] 🏖️ The sand recharging works have started in Sainte-Marie-La-Mer!
Perpignan Méditerranée Métropole has launched the 2023 campaign of sediment recharging on the town of Sainte Marie la Mer as part of its competence of Coastline Management.
👉 What does this work involve?
15,000 m3 of sand are pumped into the sea with a suction dredge, to be redistributed in 3 sectors:
- 🌊 The beach north of the last spur
- 🌊 The beach in front of Sourribe Square
- 🌊 The first range after the port
This project will be completed by the end of May.
