The kick-off was given on September 26, 2024, in Peyrestortes, by Perpignan Méditerranée Métropole and Eau Agglo.
Objective: to reinforce the drinking water supply to the towns of Cases de Pène, Peyrestortes, Rivesaltes, Baixas, Espira de l'Agly and Perpignan!
Optimization of the Notre-Dame de Pène borehole: a new pump to draw up to 300 m³/h
New drinking water treatment plant to guarantee optimum quality to the highest standards
1,800 m³ reservoir to ensure water reserve
15 km of network to connect communes and ensure efficient distribution
Advanced technologies: dual-layer filtration, UV disinfection, management of turbidity peaks for consistently pure water
This project represents an investment of 19 million euros to guarantee high-quality drinking water for all residents!
