October 11, 2024 marks a decisive step forward for the safety of our territory with the signing of the Têt Flood Prevention Action Program (PAPI), period 2024-2029.
This program, which is essential for our watershed, enables us to sustainably reduce the impact of flooding on people, property and economic infrastructures.
As a major partner, Perpignan Méditerranée Métropole is fully committed to implementing this strategic plan. Thanks to this PAPI, more than 50 actions will be carried out at a cost of 15 million euros, financed by the French State, the Occitanie Region, the Conseil Départemental des Pyrénées-Orientales and the Syndicat Mixte de la Têt Bassin Versant.
