This Student House, built at the entrance of University of Perpignan Via Domitia - UPVD in 1998, was made up of many compartmentalized spaces limiting exchanges, meetings and the realization of artistic and cultural projects.

The rehabilitation of the Maison de l'Etudiant into a Maison des Arts et de la Culture involves both the decompartmentalization, an essential condition for the creation of social links, but also a complete renovation (floors, walls, lighting, electricity, replacement of exterior woodwork, etc.) and the purchase of new, user-friendly furniture adapted to the new functions of the place .

The inauguration of this new space took place this Thursday, November 24.

From now on, both students and university staff will be able to come and stimulate their curiosity but also develop their creativity.

The House of Arts and Culture is transformed into :

Recording studio

Exhibition room

A place of life where all members of the university community will have the opportunity to meet, share and exchange.
