🎵Perpignan Méditerranée Métropole supports Les Déferlantes Sud de France and theElectrobeach Festival

👏 Many thanks to the teams from PMM's Direction Valorisation des Déchets and Direction des Mobilités who contributed to the success of Les Déferlantes and Electrobeach.

👉The resources made available were considerable:

♻️ For waste processing 130 770-liter bins, 16 aerial Columns, 11 agents mobilized and an awareness-raising stand with sorting ambassadors. 🚮Collections have been adapted to ensure cleanliness of the site during the festivals.

🚏In terms of mobility, the existing Sankéo network service has been reinforced. In addition to the line serving Le Barcarès, additional departures were set up to facilitate festival-goers' on-site transport.
🚌 Internal shuttles ensured frequent rotations between the parking lots set up for this purpose and the festival zone. For Electrobeach, this service was extended to campsites and coastal communities. 👨‍💼10 agents from the Mobility Department were on site to help manage the flow of passengers.

🎟️Perpignan Méditerranée Métropole also offered many deserving young people from the 36 communes in its area the chance to take part in these events.

More than 200,000 euros is the investment made for 2023. Perpignan Méditerranée Métropole supports local festivals with human and technical resources, as well as with the participation of our young people, to help them reach beyond their borders and generate tangible economic benefits.
