A look back at the Matinée Hydrogène in Perpignan!
On Thursday October 17, 2024, Perpignan Méditerranée Métropole hosted a morning dedicated to the hydrogen industry at the Centre administratif Saint-Charles International, bringing together experts and economic players from the region.
The event demonstrated the importance of this technology for sustainable mobility and the energy transition. Hydrogen vehicle demonstrations gave a concrete illustration of the potential of this energy to decarbonize the transport and logistics sector.
Highlights of the morning included exchanges on the hydrogen strategy for heavy mobility, with contributions from Hydeo on national and regional strategies, and from companies such as LEA Logistique, which shared its feedback after equipping its fleet with hydrogen vehicles. QAIR presented its local hydrogen production and distribution network, while BPI France-Occitanie outlined its green financing solutions to support this transition.
The demonstrations section featured a number of innovative hydrogen-powered vehicles, and participants were able to talk to the industry players present at the stands, including :
- QAIR for local hydrogen production and distribution,
- Hyway Occitanie with turnkey service solutions for heavy-duty mobility,
- BPI France-Occitanie for financing solutions and green loans,
- Territoires Alternatifs with ADEME, for their mobile H2 stations and truck tests,
- GCK Mobility, expert in H2 retrofits on heavy-duty vehicles,
- Lhyfe, a renewable hydrogen producer with its Bessières site.
