On Sunday, November 10, the town of Toulouges celebrated the official opening of the new Jonathan Hernandez stadium, a place dedicated to the practice of sport and sporting events.
Many personalities were present for this significant event, including Nicolas Barthe, Mayor of Toulouges, Thierry Bonnier, Prefect of the Pyrénées-Orientales, Lauriane Josende, Senator of the Pyrénées-Orientales, Julien Baraillé, Regional Councilor of Occitanie/Pyrénées-Méditerranée, Hermeline Malherbe, President of the Pyrénées-Orientales department, and Armelle Revel-Fourcade, Vice-President of Perpignan Méditerranée Métropole.
Thanks to significant financial participation from Perpignan Méditerranée Métropole, this project was able to see the light of day, demonstrating a strong commitment to supporting the development and beautification of its member municipalities. This stadium, a true meeting and inspiration space for young people, reflects Toulouges' investment in sport and the values of solidarity.
The elected officials stressed the importance of this place, which will allow residents to meet, practice sport and strengthen ties within the community.
