Roger Garrido, community councillor and mayor of Saint Feliu d'Avall, and Robert Vila, President of Perpignan Méditerranée Métropole, inaugurated the Rue des gardioles.

In partnership with Perpignan Méditerranée Métropole, the municipality has undertaken a major repair project on the Rue des Gardioles which has lasted several months.

The aim of this work was to improve the safety and living environment of the residents. The works, which were costed at 721,029 euros, consisted of the rehabilitation of the roadway, as well as the repair of the wet and dry networks.

In order to complete this project, the commune benefited from the financial support of Perpignan Méditerranée Métropole, SYDEEL 66 and ENEDIS, from the skills of numerous tradesmen and from the availability of the Pôle Grand Ouest, which coordinated the work.
This renovation has created a wide and pleasant road equipped with a rainwater drainage system and underground electricity and telecom networks.
