For 40 years, the National Association of Coastal Elected Officials has brought together elected officials from coastal communities in France and overseas to discuss the specific issues of #economicdevelopment and coastal protection 
The National Study Days of the#ANEL on the theme "Living the coastline" were held on Thursday 29 and Friday 30 September 2022 at Grau du Roi Port Camargue.Marc Médina, Mayor of City of Torreilles and Vice President of PMM, Stéphane Loda, Mayor of Canet en Roussillon and Vice President of PMM, Edmond Jorda, Mayor of Sainte Marie la Mer and Antoine Parra, Mayor of City of Argelès-sur-Mer actively participated in these working days.
The program includes round tables, thematic workshops, plenary sessions... to exchange and debate.Hervé Berville, Secretary of State to the Prime Minister, responsible for the Sea and Carole Delga, President of The Occitanie / Pyrénées-Méditerranée Region opened these days. Bérangère Couillard, Secretary of State to the Minister of Ecological Transition and Territorial Cohesion, in charge of Ecology and Caroline C., Minister Delegate to the Minister of the Interior and Overseas and the Minister of Ecological Transition and Territorial Cohesion in charge of Local Government were also present at this meeting.
